It's time for the earth to be cleansed.
Released after eons of being imprisoned and tortured, Aeron and his three
brothers are ordered by the remaining old gods to bring the Apocalypse
upon the world. Humanity has failed them too many times, and the
Reckoning is overdue.
As the deity of the air and sky, it's
Aeron's duty to bring about massive storms to wipe out civilization.
Tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning - all are at his bidding, and Aeron
is more than willing to do whatever he is requested to do. He will
mete out the worst he can conjure, as long as it means he'll no
longer be bound within the hot, dark confines deep within the
bowels of the Earth.
Ceris Shahan is terrified of flying. But
when the president of the company demands she be at the summit
conference clear across the continent the next day, she has no
choice but to take the next plane out. If her phobia wasn't
debilitating enough, they run into turbulence that doesn't end.
Tossed about, bruised and injured amid the ugly black clouds that
continue to engulf them, she and the other passengers soon realize
they will not survive.
When Ceris spots a figure outside the
window, a man who appears to be standing amid the thunderheads and
is surrounded by an aura of light, she starts to doubt her own
sanity. Yet, when the man turns to find her staring at him, the look
of stunned disbelief on his face is undeniable.
She shouldn't
be able to see him, but she can. Realizing what this could mean,
Aeron decides to risk everything, even his freedom, to rescue and
protect the woman from the annihilation of all mankind.
Warning! Contains scenes of mass
destruction, two apples, the plane ride from hell,
stainless steel, extreme arrogance, an odd utility tool,
and two people hoping for a future, any kind of future,
as long as they can share it together. |
The earth is being destroyed, and the mortal population
decimated, all in an attempt for the old gods to become relevant
again. Eons ago, Zeus and the gods captured the four demi-gods of
the elements—air, earth, fire and water. Now the minor gods have
been let loose and are being forced to wreak havoc on the planet.
Meris, half-god of the water, doesn’t enjoy throwing
tsunamis and flooding coastal towns and villages, destroying islands
and taking lives, but he and his brothers must do as they’re told or
risk being imprisoned again, possibly forever. Which none of them
would survive a second time.
The life of a teacher isn’t full of glamour and world
travels, so when offered a free trip to Hawaii in exchange for Maid
of Honor duties for her best friend, Roby McDaniel jumps at the
chance. What was supposed to be an elegant dinner cruise full of
wine and fine dining quickly ends in tragedy when a giant wave
appears from out of nowhere and capsizes the boat. Roby manages to
stay afloat, unable to comprehend the destruction happening in front
of her eyes, but the giant rising out of the ocean?
That
she really has trouble wrapping her head around.
Normally unseen by mortals unless he wills it, Meris is
surprised when Roby calls out to him, and he cannot turn his back on
the mortal begging to be saved. She’s beautiful, brave, special, and
meant for him. But after causing the deaths of her friends, can he
convince her he’s not the heartless monster she thinks he is?
With Poseidon missing, the remaining gods are biding their
time until they can trap the Primordials again, but now they need to
locate the god of the sea. They are certain that capturing and
torturing the mortal women Meris and his brothers are protecting
will give them the answers they seek.
Warning! Contains scenes of mass destruction, one woman's
shoe, chains, the car wash of desire, steamed fish, derelicts, a
bright red shirt, and one demi-god willing to give his life to
protect the woman who loves him.

From
an underground bomb shelter, Andrea Johns has been watching
the apocalypse play out through live feeds from around the
world. A tsunami hitting the Rockies, tornadoes in the
Andes, lava filling the Grand Canyon, earthquakes in
Paris—the world is literally being wiped out one natural
disaster at a time. And it’s only a matter of time before
every living being is wiped out with it.
Pyre,
the demi-god of fire, along with his brothers, are still
wreaking havoc on earth per the old gods’ orders, but they
have been careful not to kill every living thing. Some
humans need to remain alive to worship the gods and bring
them back into power, and those humans will need food. Upon
clearing out one area in particular, Pyre sees something, or
someone, fleeing and decides it’s worth saving. He wasn’t
expecting a human, or that she’d be able to see him. Could
it be he’d gotten as lucky as his brothers and found his
woman?
Andrea
is torn. Yes, Pyre saved her, but he’s also responsible for
all that is happening. Does she trust him? Can she trust her
heart? When the other two women who “belong” to the
demi-gods go missing, it’ll take everyone working together
to save them.
Several gods are already down for the count, but how many
more are left to be conquered before the mortals are truly
free? One thing the brothers have finally learned is that
together they stand a chance. Especially with their feisty
women by their sides. Gods or not, never underestimate the
power of a mortal.
Warning!
Contains fresh fruit, cookware weaponry, days without
bathing, going out on a limb, sharing stories, a crazed
harpy goddess bird woman, and one survivor realizing that
the object of her anger is a demi-god who has come to love
her.
